Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, adapting instruction to meet varying skill levels.
- Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal fitness.
- Develop lesson plans that are engaging and tailored to the needs of each student.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their guardians.
- Maintain a safe and clean pool environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
- A background in swimming or aquatic activities is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
- A passion for working with people of all ages, particularly children.
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage but not mandatory.
