Primary Purpose of the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager/Head Trainer to lead our studio’s training team and support day-to-day operations. This dual role blends leadership, coaching, and management responsibilities (20–40 hours/week). You’ll work closely with the studio manager across all fronts to ensure seamless operations, drive member retention, and achieve studio growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Coaching:
- Lead 15–20 high-energy group classes per week, setting the standard for excellence in technique, motivation, and member engagement.
- Provide a personal training experience in a group setting, ensuring each member feels individually supported.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor and schedule a high-performing team of trainers, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee staff training, performance reviews, and recruitment to maintain a fully staffed, skilled team.
- F45 Challenge & Member Success:
- Spearhead our flagship 45-Day Challenge (3x yearly), providing personalized mentorship to participants.
- Track member progress, celebrate milestones, and use results to inspire community growth.
- Studio Operations:
- Assist in managing daily operations, including class scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Collaboration with Management: Work closely with the studio manager on marketing strategies, social media campaigns, and local outreach to boost membership and brand visibility.
- Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate with the manager on studio performance metrics, member feedback, and operational improvements.
- Contribute to business planning, including staff schedules, budgeting, and community engagement initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience in fitness leadership, with certifications in personal training/group fitness (minimum Level 3).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: upbeat, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed.
- Strong organizational acumen; ability to balance coaching, administrative tasks, and team management.
- A collaborative mindset with experience working closely with management to achieve shared goals.
- Social media savvy with a creative flair for engaging content.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings/evenings.
- Physical stamina to lead 15–20 classes weekly while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
