Job Overview - The Edge Health & Fitness Club

You will be employed for a set number of agreed shifts per week whilst promoting to our members your personal training, of which you will sell group and individual sessions.

PT - will be offered outside of your shifts and on a profit shared basis of 70% yours 30% ours.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to promoting health and fitness, guiding clients through effective workout routines, and fostering a supportive environment for individuals of all fitness levels. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals while ensuring their safety and enjoyment during sessions.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and effective fitness classes tailored to various skill levels, including group sessions and one-on-one training.
Develop personalised fitness programmes that cater to individual client needs and goals.
Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participants maintain correct form to prevent injuries.
Monitor client progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workout environment.
Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices to provide high-quality instruction.
Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages client motivation and retention.
Assist with promotional activities or events to attract new clients.

Requirements

Certification in fitness instruction or personal training from a recognised organisation is essential.
Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and health-related topics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for fitness is key.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness aspirations.
