With growing aspects of our delivery plan and developments within Westminster, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Activity and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. The new role will be responsible for promoting health and wellbeing throughout our 10 Westminster Leisure Centres and the wider communities with a key focus on tackling health inequalities amongst marginalised groups and increasing accessibility.
Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on this role and embrace our brand mission of 30 minutes of activity 5 times a week.
We need an Activity and Wellbeing Coordinator who will…
- Have experience in a supervisory role in a leisure environment
- Be able to use knowledge and experience to develop, deliver and monitor a successful delivery plan that addresses local, regional and national inactivity and health inequalities, specifically amongst marginalised groups
- Work in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners including NGBs, clubs, schools and local groups to drive community engagement and social value initiatives
- Show strong business acumen and ability to manage targets, monitor and evaluate initiatives, report results and showcase impact
- Source funding opportunities by completing applications and project proposals
- Be innovative and manage activities with a key focus on driving engagement and income as well as ensuring a safe, fun environment for our customers and colleagues.
- Have the ability to effectively manage a team of coaches and apprentices
- Demonstrate exceptional time management and deadline compliance
- Have excellent verbal, written and IT communication skills
Training will be given. This position may involve day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays. This role will require a DBS check to be completed prior to starting.
