Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. As a Duty Manager, you will ensure that all hotel operations run smoothly, maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Demonstrate exceptional time management and deadline compliance

National Pool Lifeguard, First Aid at Work & Pool Plant Operators qualifications will need to be achieved within a set timescale if not qualified. This position will involve day, evening and weekend work, including public holidays and will also require a DBS check prior to starting

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel staff to ensure efficient operation.
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food services, to enhance guest experiences.
Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities to maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
Assist in training new staff members on best practices in guest services and hospitality.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities and report any significant incidents to senior management.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of guest services and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
Proficient in human resources practices related to staff management and training.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
