We are recruiting for an Assistant Club Manager for an amazing operator in the health and fitness industry. Energie Fitness Ashford only opened a year ago but has already built up a strong community of members, many of whom see us as their second home. If you look at our reviews online the word you will see most frequently is “friendly”. We are not an anonymous wear-house gym. We know our member’s names, goals and the role fitness plays in their lives. Your role as Assistant Manager will be to maintain and build that environment and bring more people to it. Alongside the Club Manager, you will play a hands-on role to create a great place to work – and workout – for both your team and gym members. This is a gym job that requires an individual who is passionate about fitness, service and product and is incredibly hands on and prepared to lead from the front. You must have a real passion for the industry and enjoy motivating members and creating a world class fitness experience.
What do we need from you?
- A friendly, positive, can do attitude to life (not just fitness!)
- A passion for fitness and wellbeing
- A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, and experience teaching group exercise
- You are known for your friendly, calm and approachable nature with the ability to act quickly and effectively
- You love working in a team, and have the drive to inspire and motivate others to work towards and achieve targets
- You are confident in your leadership skills, and have experience managing a varied team in a fast-paced environment
- You are effective in your management, and know the ins and outs of recruitment, payroll, and training and development
- You have excellent attention to detail
