Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating individuals of all ages on water safety and swimming skills, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for learners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, ensuring each session is tailored to the participants' skill levels and goals.
- Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills.
- Demonstrate various swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, or recommendations for further development.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.
Skills
- Strong ability to educate others, with excellent communication skills that foster understanding and engagement.
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety protocols.
- Patience and adaptability to cater lessons to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students of all ages.

Pay: £18.00-£18.60 per hour
