THE ROLE.
This project involves creating and deliveringphysical activity sessions for young people aged 5-17, many of whom live in temporary accomodation.
Your role will involve creating and delivering running and physical activity sessions.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead your own sessions and see progression. The work is both fun and challenging, and requires assertive, creative, quick-thinking leaders who deeply care.
You’ll work alongside a team of Run Leaders and other service providers dedicated to making positive changes to peoples lives through fitness.
PRE REQUISITES.
● Availability: Monday & Tuesday in Edgbaston 4.30-5.30pm, 3.30-4.30pm in Balsall Heath during School Term Time. 10.00-11.00am in the locations during School Holidays.
● Experience: Leading running or physical activity groups will help a lot but is not essential.
● Qualification: Ideally you will already have a Coach in Running Fitness / Athletics Qualification (via England Athletics), Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) or relevant Qualification (e.g. Personal Trainer) with a DBS Check;
- HOWEVER, if you are an exceptional individual who aligns with our values with excellent avalibility, we will consider your application and paying for your Training/Qualification.

● You’re an assertive, creative, quick-thinking leader, who genuinely cares about getting everyone moving;
● Be comfortable working alone to deliver sessions;
● Work with other service providers and the RUN OF A KIND team;
● Both planning and reflection are essential to share your sessions and how they went;
● Give continuous honest feedback to ensure the project is delivered with excellence;
● Prompt timekeeping to ensure you’re there to start on time (the children will be waiting for you!);
● Bring your fun, confident, positive personality and love for running to the role.

PAY & BENEFITS.
● You are employed on a freelance basis;
● Pay to be discussed. £25 with Qualification and DBS, less if you need us to pay for your qualification.

TRAINING.
GET SET. Induction to learn everything there is to know about our business, brand and your role. You’ll then get a brief which includes everything you should need to set you up to plan and lead sessions.
GO. You’ll lead your 1st sessions, but the training won’t stop there, as we learn and develop our approach over the project.
